Scrappy 9 patch. Persimon Dreams challenge for January 2019

I made 12.5" nine patch blocks using the qayg method.  The quilt is 48x60".  Here is a picture of the front and of the back.  Below shows a couple of the blocks.

Update for 2020

I will try to get pictures posted of quilts I have made this year and of quilts I have finished from previous years.

This is Heart Affluter, a bom from several years ago.  I made mine reversible.  The pink side has machine embroidery (by embroidery machine)  and the blue side has applique (machine applique, regular sewing machine).  I made reversible binding too.  The blocks are made qayg.  They were done.  I needed to put it all together.  I am happy to have it finished.  I put borders on it to make it larger.

This quilt pattern was from a magazine several years ago.  I made the blocks and put it aside.  Now it is finished in 2020.

mystery mini quilt given by Persimon Dreams

This was a fun one-week mystery.  I chose to Go Green just for the fun of it.  Mostly because Oregon has outlawed plastic bags to be used by stores to bag your items starting January 1.  So that has been on my mind.  Not to mention that I have a lot of green scraps.   I tried to do this through Instagram but I got stuck when it came to putting in URL.  I could not locate a url on my Instagram.  I will have a grandchild teach me how to do that one of these days soon.
