Some clothes for little Caroline

Some flannel with sparkles in it.  The glitter doesn't rub off.  The flannel washed and dried nicely before I made the pajamas.  I even learned to sew the buttons on with the special pressure foot for that.  I was worried I would break a needle, but I took it slow and everything went fine.  Made nice neat button holes with my machine too.  These are a size 2.

I also got a new dress pattern last week when they were on sale for 99 cents.  I chose to make Caroline a dress with some light weight fleece fabric with Frozen movie fabric.  She came over today and was delighted with it!
I was happy that it fit her so well.

Danger is my middle name

This is a panel of a cartoon character.  I put this crib quilt together for my new grandson and yes, Danger is his middle name.  He is just six weeks old today.  When I saw this fabric online I went right over to Fabric Depot and bought a panel.  My granddaughter was pleasantly surprised.  She recognized the cartoon right away.  I had never heard of it.

Cut chenille quilt finished, Oregon Beavers theme

Here is a picture before washing and a picture of after washing.  The flannel really fluffs up when it is washed and dried.

Finish Along list for the 4th quarter

Sewing and quilting is much easier for me than blogging.  I really stress over posting to my blog.
My list for the fourth quarter of The Littlest Thistle's Finish Along will have 4 projects rolled over from last quarter.
New List:

1.  Scrappy Trips around the World.   When I started these blocks I intended to keep going with them until I had a quilt top made.  I hope I make some progress on it this quarter.
 2.
                                                                                                                                                                       2.  the Friendship medalion quilt , pink and purple in picture above.  It still needs one more border and then completed

3.  Medallion quilt from STB.  Top is done.  Needs finished.    I am starting to wonder if I will ever get these two done.  Shown in picture above.  The lower one shown of the two tops.

4.  Baby quilt.  Will use the Eat , Sleep, Play pattern for these fabrics.
5.  This will be a quilt for great granddaughter.  My granddaughter chose these fabrics and the pattern 2 years ago.  Now the baby might get this for her third birthday.  The owl fabric is the back and the other fabrics will be strips on the front.
  6.  Flannel to make a cut chennile crib quilt:
   7.  Bright Sky QAL
8.Panel quilt, crib quilt, for great grandson.  His middle name is Danger.   The darker blue fabric will be the backing.

Building Blocks Quilt. Pattern by Leah Day.

 Building Blocks:

Quilt Front:
This was another fun quilt .   The first picture is the front of the quilt and the second picture is the back.  I did pieced backing as Leah Day suggested.  Using left overs from the fabrics for the front and a few others to kick it up a notch.  I learned some new things about FMQ'ing.  I am more relaxed about it since Leah so kindly assured people to give up the fear of perfection.
