RSC 16 top completed

I got all my rows sewn together a few days ago.  Now to pick out backing.

RSC16

Finished sewing the blocks into rows and now sewing the rows together.  Only 2 more to sew on and the RSC16 top will be done.   I will work on it this evening and hope to pick out backing for it.

January block for RSC17

The January color is purple.  I have decided to make lamps for each month.  Maybe I will put scrappy purple fabric blocks between the lamp blocks.  I am still deciding.

This block isn't real scrappy but I am using my larger scraps out of my scrap bins.  (yes, bins and bags)  The pattern is a free one online that I have had saved for years.  I will find the link for it and post it here , when I do find it.  It is from Allpeoplequilt.com.

Frankie in his jacket

He loves the jacket because of the dog fabric.  It is cute on him and loose fitting.  He will be wearing it for awhile while he grows.  It is light weight and better for when the weather warms up.

A jacket for Frankie

Frankie just turned 2 and he really loves animals.  Especially dogs.  I found this dog theme fabric in my stash and found a cute pattern in my pattern stash.  I think he is going to like this jacket.  It is a size 2 but it looks larger.  Maybe because it is a "loose fit" style.   The lining is plaid flannel.  The jacket is lightweight so it will be good for spring and summer weather.  (I have no affiliation with the pattern company.  I included the pattern picture in this post in case someone else is interested in finding the pattern for their own use.)

The coat I made for the challenge on Quilting Mod fits my great granddaughter real well.  I took a picture of her and her 2 year old brother photo bombed her.
